Good curriculum, slow support

I purchased the 3rd Grade Curriculum for my daughter, mainly the Math Course and Language Arts Course. The content itself is quite thorough and well-organized, which makes my job as a homeschool parent a lot easier. She's picked up on the lessons quickly, and the digital platform is pretty straightforward to navigate. However, I had a question about grading services, and it took about four days to get a clear response from customer support. The initial automated replies were a bit frustrating. While the curriculum is strong, better responsiveness on the support side would make the experience smoother. Value for money is decent given the comprehensive nature of the courses, but that delay was a minor setback.

Consistent and reliable

This is my third year using Calvert Homeschool, and they continue to deliver. We started with Kindergarten, moved to 1st Grade, and now my child is using the 2nd Grade Curriculum. This time, I also added an Elective. The consistency in their K-12 approach is a huge plus. The lesson plans are always clear, and the pacing is manageable. I've found their Print-Based Curriculum to be exactly what we need, and the materials always arrive promptly. It's comforting to know what to expect. While the platform itself hasn't changed much year-to-year, that reliability is exactly why I keep coming back. No surprises, just solid education.

So happy with 1st Grade!

I got the 1st Grade Curriculum for my son and it's fantastic! The online subscription is super easy to use and he loves the interactive lessons. He's really engaged with the Science Course. I'm definitely buying again next year!
